Business Development Associate, Mid-Market

Mid-Market Overview:

In 2018, Brand Networks is launching a new Services Team dedicated to providing managed services to high value small business, mid-market customers.  This Team will provide best-in-class managed services and cutting edge BN technology to scale these growing brands and help them scale their business and social investment on Facebook. Our specialty will be focused on mid to low funnel, ecommerce & retail clients.

Role Description:

The Business Development Associate will be responsible for owning the Mid-Market sales process from start to finish including but not limited to researching prospects, lead generation, qualifying leads, sales pitches, proposals, contract negotiation, client onboarding and maintaining client relationship.

  • Conduct research
    • Relentlessly research relevant companies and individuals that fit BN’s customer profile.
    • Work with BN’s Media Intelligence Team to compile retail, eCommerce industry data and well as competitor analysis and effectively communicate insights to larger Mid-market Team.
  • Customer prospecting
    • Identifying new sales leads and manage database of prospects via Salesforce.
    • Contact potential customers via email or phone to qualify lead and set-up introductory meetings. Includes managing email marketing campaigns.
    • Secure intro calls with prospects. Customize all sales materials for successful meeting.
    • Track, develop relationship and convert inbound leads. Includes landing page management.
    • Opportunity to attend client in-person meetings, networking events and conferences.
  • Craft Customer Solution
    • Work closely with Mid-Market Services Team to develop media plan and go-to market strategy for prospects that solve their current business challenges.
    • Lead customer working sessions to extract business information in order to drive recommended strategy and solution.
  • Client onboarding
    • Contract negotiation and contract management to ensure correctly signed & logged into BN’s records.
  • Maintain client relationship
    • Make sure goals are established & communicated to all parties during Trial.  Attend monthly client meetings to ensure client expectations are met and that client signs up for long-term partnership post Trial.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 1-2 years professional experience preferably in sales, marketing or social advertising.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with strong presentation skills to clearly communicate concepts.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work with cross-functional teams.
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Suite, Google Suite and Salesforce skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically about a marketer’s business challenges, leading to thoughtful recommendations, action plans.
  • Effective time management skills - ability to prioritize and meet deadlines and follow-through.
  • Strong work ethic.  Must be self-motivated and able to take the initiative to get the job done.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, demanding, and fun entrepreneurial environment.
  • May require travel.
