Associate, Sales Development Specialist (Digital Activation)

Description:

As a member of the Sales Development and Strategy team you will be responsible for driving the client pre-sales process.  You will work with both internal teams across multiple departments and external clients to develop strategic media plans for the US Digital Media Sales division.

This is a role that will suit someone from a sales, agency, marketing and/or account management background. You will additionally support the assessment of current internal processes, advance and execute current framework and best practice methodologies, striving for continuous improvement and ongoing expertise when communicating the Brand Networks product suite.

  • Develop focused, insightful proposal recommendations appropriately aligning Brand Networks targeting capabilities with client goals while maximizing revenue.
  • Create sales presentations that persuasively articulate Brand Networks offerings and competitive advantages to clients enhancing RFP response quality.
  • Partner with Sales to understand client goals/objectives and brainstorm solutions.
  • Participate on client calls to explain proposals and assist with closes as needed
  • Work with Account Management team to relay client goals / Brand Networks recommendations ensuring smooth campaign launch process.
  • Coordinate with Marketing and Product teams to build effective sales collateral, develop case studies, formalize pitch decks.
  • Research and maintain competitive and industry expertise in the landscape and understand how we fit in the wider marketing mix.
  • Work closely with internal teams to strategically drive company-wide goals and improve operational sales process.
  • Evaluate areas within the sales/planning workflow that can be improved, create process enhancements that eliminate any blocks.
  • Provide continuous internal and external customer service including efficient response to all ad-hoc requests.
  • Train internal teams and relevant stakeholders as required for enhanced improvement, update training guides as needed.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience in digital advertising, account management, media planning, or product marketing.
  • Extensive knowledge of the online media business, emerging technology trends and competitive landscape.
  • Knowledge of media planning/buying and experience supporting a direct sales organization highly regarded.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically about complex issues, leading to thoughtful recommendations, action plans.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with outstanding presentation skills to clearly communicate concepts.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work with and manage cross-functional teams.
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Suite (PowerPoint, Excel) and Salesforce skills.
  • Effective time management skills – ability to prioritize and meet deadlines and follow-through.
  • Strong work ethic. Must be self-motivated and able to take the initiative to get the job done.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, demanding, and fun entrepreneurial environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
