Description:

The Interaction & Motion Designer will play a key role in creating and editing video and rich media ad units. The applicant must have a solid understanding of video editing, motion graphics, interaction / web / mobile design, as well as accompanying optimization principles; an eye for detail and strong sense of aesthetics; and knowledge of social platforms such as Snapchat, Facebook, Instagram, Facebook and Pinterest. Responsible for creating cohesive video and rich media experiences for various forms of online content and will work closely with our creative director and video producer. Must be able to effectively communicate vision and deliver strong visual recommendations supported by strategic rationale.

  • Oversight and guidance on ad concepts, storyboards, and ad unit production.
  • Ensuring the creative vision can be realized from a technical standpoint.
  • Editing and formatting traditional video units to fit social channels.
  • Design and builds of cross-device rich media (phone / tablet / desktop) using the CELTRA rich media platform.
  • Image optimization for mobile / tablet / desktop ad creation.
  • Image gathering, clean up, and design for pitch work.

Responsibilities:

  • Solid experience in field of digital advertising, graphic and / or mobile design.
  • General knowledge of HTML5, Adobe Premiere and After Effects, Comfortable and competent in other Adobe programs. Cinema 4D knowledge is a plus.
  • Proficient in color correction, audio mixing.
  • Edit different versions of a source video with each version being optimized for the social platform destination.
  • Experience working on Snapchat content and other social platforms.
  • Knowledge of social trends and emerging social platforms.
  • A strong sense of storytelling pacing in video form.
  • Effective time management skills – ability to prioritize and meet tight deadlines.
  • Must be self-motivated and able to take initiative.
  • Excellent listening, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, demanding, and fun entrepreneurial environment.
